Phased Approach to Weight Loss: Why It Works Best

Phase 1: Reduce

Your three-phased approach to weight loss starts with the Reduce phase. This phase is designed for quick, lasting weight loss. You will follow a simple, structured nutrition plan that takes the guesswork out of what you should eat for weight loss. As you follow the plan, you will eat 6 meals a day. Five of those meals include Profile foods. You will also eat 4+ cups of veggies each day.

Phase 2: Adapt

You are moved to the second phase when you are almost to your goal weight. This means you are in a transition period. You’ll continue to lose weight gradually as you work more grocery foods back into your meal plan. By following a moderately-structured nutrition plan, you are able to start applying the healthy lifestyle lessons you learned in the first phase.

Phase 3: Sustain

The final phase of the Profile program is a long-term plan for sustaining and managing your weight. In this phase, you will start to self-monitor your nutrition and activity. You’ll also continue to work with a coach, who will help you adjust to living your new healthy lifestyle. You can continue to enjoy your favorite Profile foods as you like!
