Rich Chocolate Brownies

Brownie Mix

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • Sugar substitute blend for baking to equal 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup egg substitute or 4 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup white whole wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup of dark chocolate cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Optional Garnish:
  • 1/4 cup chopped toasted walnuts
  • Dark chocolate ganache
  • Raspberry puree 
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a 9-inch square pan with vegetable oil spray.
  3. In a bowl, stir together unsweetened applesauce, sugar substitute blend, and vanilla. Add egg substitute or egg whites and blend well with a spoon.
  4. In a separate bowl mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt, and stir to combine. Add dry ingredients into egg mixture and stir just to combine.
  5. Spread batter into prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of the pan. When brownies have cooled drizzle
    with raspberry puree and sprinkle with toasted walnuts.
  6. Finish with a drizzle of dark chocolate ganache. When set cut into 2-inch pieces and place on dessert tray. To serve as individual desserts drizzle a
    dessert plate with raspberry puree, top with brownie, and drizzle with dark chocolate ganache. Finish by adding a sprinkle of tasted walnuts.

  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp of dark red wine like Cabernet or Merlot or vanilla extract
  • Dash of salt
  • 2 tbsp of sugar free Maple Syrup
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a small sauce pan heat olive oil till warmed to about 72 degrees
  2. Watch closely as this will happen very quickly
  3. Remove from heat
  4. Add cocoa
  5. Add pinch of salt
  6. Stir well
  7. Add sugar free syrup and stir
  8. Add wine and stir to combine well.

  • 1 T sugar free Butterscotch Topping
  • 1 tsp Fat/Free Ready Whip
  • Pam Spray
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Mix 1 package Profile chocolate cake in a ramekin sprayed with Pam spray.
  2. Bake in Microwave oven on High for 45-50 seconds or until edges are set but middle is not (watch closely as Microwave ovens vary).
  3. Remove form oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Run knife around edges of ramekin to remove cake and place on dessert plate.
  5. Drizzle Walden Farms butterscotch topping over cake, dollop on Ready Whip and enjoy.

  • 1 Tbsp. dark chocolate cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup avocado
  • 10 oz water
  • 4 walnuts crushed
  • Fat-free whipped topping
INSTRUCTIONS
  • In a small bowl, empty packages of Chocolate Fudge Cake and add dark chocolate cocoa powder and water and mix together.
  • Cut avocado in half. Spoon out ¼ cup of avocado and add to the chocolate cake mixture and mix well.
  • Divide mixture in half and fill two ramekins or small coffee mugs with cake batter. Microwave each for 2 minutes. Let sit for 2 minutes to cool.
  • Top each cake with fat-free whipped topping 2 crushed walnuts.
